Arriving at Sojourn
First things first, let's get you here!
We have two parking lots: one at the church and another across the street. If those are both full, enjoy street parking wherever you can find it!
As you walk up you'll notice our hospitality tent. Grab a free cup of coffee and some snacks before you head inside!
Here's what to expect...
We're a friendly bunch. Some say obnoxiously so. Apologies in advance if you're not the hugging or high-fiving type!
As you probably expected, we'll kick off things with some music. Feel free to sing along or simply enjoy. Sit or stand. Clap or dance. At Sojourn, it's Choose Your Own Adventure.
Our sermons at Sojourn are thoughtful combinations of spirituality and psychology, and always smothered in authenticity. The goal here is transformation and whole-hearted living!
We celebrate the Eucharist every Sunday, and all are welcome to receive. For reals... all. No matter race, religion, orientation, or creed.
(We even use gluten free bread and grape juice!)
To close every service we all hold hands--reminding us that we are not alone--and recite our sending prayer:
Leader: Be Brave
All: Because you are a child of God.
Leader: Be Kind
All: Because so is everyone else
After church, feel free to stick around and eat more food (like pie: see above!). When the weather is good we often walk three blocks to the beach and enjoy lunch and some waves together!
And then... only seven more days till we do it again!
